Kinmistry is made by OnyxRoot. This page explains what happens to your information when you visit kinmistry.com. The short version: there are no accounts yet, we don’t ask who you are, and we don’t sell or share anything about you.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. You don’t sign up, log in, or give us your name or email to use Kinmistry.
Your saves. When you tap Save on a thread, your browser remembers it on your own device so the button stays saved when you come back. We also add one to that thread’s shared count, stored on Cloudflare. The count is just a number. It isn’t tied to you, your device, or anything else we could use to tell who saved what.
Basic visit data. Like every website, ours runs on servers that see standard technical details when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you asked for. Our host, Cloudflare, handles this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use it to build a profile of you.
Visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t follow you to other sites, and doesn’t tell us who you are.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information.
- We don’t run ads or ad trackers.
- We don’t use cookies to follow you around the web.
Book covers
Covers are stored with the site on Cloudflare. We get them once, when a book is added, from Open Library or Google Books, or upload them ourselves. Your browser never contacts those services when you visit Kinmistry.
Your saves are yours to clear
Saves live in your browser. Clearing your browser’s site data for kinmistry.com removes them. Your earlier tap stays in the thread’s shared count, since that count doesn’t know who added to it.
Accounts are coming
Accounts are on the way for people who want to keep track of the threads they’ve started and saved. They’ll be optional. Before they launch, we’ll update this page to explain exactly what an account stores and how to delete it.
Children
Kinmistry isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Other sites
Kinmistry may link to other sites. Once you leave kinmistry.com, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
